Any hint for a trip through Morocco with my motorbike?

I'll be driving on best roads since my Triumph is not an offroad one. Also I'm thinking of parking the motorbike somewhere before Sahara and rent a 4x4. What do you think? Any hint really appreciated.

I would recommend not to go in August as first thing. Then, I am not a biker so I do not have firdst hand suggestions but here you can find some links to people describing their own trips:
